Don't hold your breath
Because every word deserves its time
I know I'm just a wicked man
But I'm wiser at this point in life
There's nothing better
Than the feeling of the air that surrounds your body
And watching everything move in slow motion
(Only to savor your words)
There's nothing better
Than the feeling of the warmth that will form your magic
And making the world change
(However you want to)
So, don't hold your breath
Because every man deserves his time
I speak from experience
And I hope you will find the right melodies
I hope you find a way to use your voice to set your heart ablaze
And use the echoes as a sign for when the world is too dark to see
An aging man would see
That there's no recourse for the blood that was taken from those innocent bodies
And I could never begin to explain how wrong it feels to steal the song of your kin
There's nothing better
Than the feeling of the air that surrounds your body
And watching everything move in slow motion
(Only to savor your words)
There's nothing better
Than the feeling of the warmth that will form your magic
And making the world change
(However you want to)
So, don't hold your breath
Because every voice deserves its time
You'll feel in your heart when the song is right
So, don't hold your breath
Oh Baby Boy, I see myself in your eyes
You will feel in your heart

Every time I think I’ve uncovered all the hidden gems I find another one, this is fine music. This band has two other more recent releases not available on Bandcamp, also amazing. Kind of a mix of genres with the post rock backbone I enjoy so much, very talented! Deej

Boston post-punk outfit Junk Ranchers broke up in 1986 before this, their debut album, was released; darkly melodic, it's a long-lost gem. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 22, 2020

I bought Fantastic Freak Show then after listening to about half of it I bought their entire discography. Don't make my mistake, just buy the discography first, you won't regret it. These guys are incredible, one of the best Psy-Rock bands I've heard. On top of that, these are almost all 24/48 and 24/96 recordings so their collection price is an amazing bargain. I have no clue how I missed these guys until now but I have a bunch of listening to do right now. :-) Dean Kimball
