If I've told you once, I've told myself a thousand times
Lock yourself in a room codex and sing me a thousand lines
We don't kill for fun because now the baby bird is all alone
And the mother is in your arms
It's taken years for it to leave my head
The burning buildings
The broken bodies
The people crying
I hope you never understand
(I hope you don't understand)

Every time I think I’ve uncovered all the hidden gems I find another one, this is fine music. This band has two other more recent releases not available on Bandcamp, also amazing. Kind of a mix of genres with the post rock backbone I enjoy so much, very talented! Deej

Boston post-punk outfit Junk Ranchers broke up in 1986 before this, their debut album, was released; darkly melodic, it's a long-lost gem. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 22, 2020

I bought Fantastic Freak Show then after listening to about half of it I bought their entire discography. Don't make my mistake, just buy the discography first, you won't regret it. These guys are incredible, one of the best Psy-Rock bands I've heard. On top of that, these are almost all 24/48 and 24/96 recordings so their collection price is an amazing bargain. I have no clue how I missed these guys until now but I have a bunch of listening to do right now. :-) Dean Kimball
