It's just a matter of time before I get that feeling again
I lock myself in the basement of an empty house when it gets too intense
There's a quiet ringing in the corner of my brain
And it's so bloody hard to suppress the call to kill again
I have to bribe the demons with a beautiful woman that's not my own
I sing to her all those wonderful lines all the other men can't control
There's a quiet moment in the night when she's all mine
And the darkness surrounds
She's now ready to be my prey
When the darkness surrounds her face
She'll be mine to take
I remember being so cold I was shaking
Oh she warmed me up
Surrendered those beautiful eyes
It wasn't right to do
But I learned that night what it's like to be taken in the night
It's just a matter of time before I get that feeling again
I'm stealing eyes and feeding them lies just to find a way
There has to be a way to quiet my insistent hunger for your legs
And it's so fucking hard to resist it

Every time I think I’ve uncovered all the hidden gems I find another one, this is fine music. This band has two other more recent releases not available on Bandcamp, also amazing. Kind of a mix of genres with the post rock backbone I enjoy so much, very talented! Deej
Tim Arnold's latest album of lushly detailed art-pop explores the insidious ways tech surveillance has become a part of our lives. Bandcamp New & Notable May 9, 2023
Boston post-punk outfit Junk Ranchers broke up in 1986 before this, their debut album, was released; darkly melodic, it's a long-lost gem. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 22, 2020
I bought Fantastic Freak Show then after listening to about half of it I bought their entire discography. Don't make my mistake, just buy the discography first, you won't regret it. These guys are incredible, one of the best Psy-Rock bands I've heard. On top of that, these are almost all 24/48 and 24/96 recordings so their collection price is an amazing bargain. I have no clue how I missed these guys until now but I have a bunch of listening to do right now. :-) Dean Kimball
