There's a picture of you here
Standing right beside me
With the warm summer wind coursing through your dress
But now I'm so alone
And now I must move on
There's a world outside our boring little home
And I will seize it
I will squeeze every inch of life that it has
Until I'm whole
Mighty oaks from little acorns grow
Don't let her know
The world will now whisper my name
The thought of me will bring so much fear
To all the powerless ones that can't find their voice
The world will now whisper my name
A silent song in your ears
A triumph of all that I've done
So, let's rejoice
It's the power that compels me to search for higher life
The water is cold here but it will surely open your eyes
It will steal from your lungs
It will furrow your brow
But you will be known for your sound
And as I ascend into the highest of the sky
My lungs are caving in
I now approach the man that I once strived to be
The world will now whisper my name
The thought of me will bring so much fear
To all the powerless ones that can't find their voice
The world will now whisper my name
A silent song in your ears
A triumph of all that I've done
So, let's rejoice
Every time I think I’ve uncovered all the hidden gems I find another one, this is fine music. This band has two other more recent releases not available on Bandcamp, also amazing. Kind of a mix of genres with the post rock backbone I enjoy so much, very talented! Deej
Tim Arnold's latest album of lushly detailed art-pop explores the insidious ways tech surveillance has become a part of our lives. Bandcamp New & Notable May 9, 2023
Boston post-punk outfit Junk Ranchers broke up in 1986 before this, their debut album, was released; darkly melodic, it's a long-lost gem. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 22, 2020
I bought Fantastic Freak Show then after listening to about half of it I bought their entire discography. Don't make my mistake, just buy the discography first, you won't regret it. These guys are incredible, one of the best Psy-Rock bands I've heard. On top of that, these are almost all 24/48 and 24/96 recordings so their collection price is an amazing bargain. I have no clue how I missed these guys until now but I have a bunch of listening to do right now. :-) Dean Kimball
